These Food Truck Pioneers Celebrate A Milestone Anniversary

The winning team at Marination in Seattle just celebrated its 10th anniversary, an amazing decade of explosive growth for the leaders of the city’s food truck revolution.

When owners Kamala Saxton and Roz Edison rolled out Marination in 2009, there were four folks in the mobile kitchen, cranking out Kalbi beef tacos, Spam sliders and Kimchi fried rice out of a custom truck affectionately known as Big Blue. Now, there are 160 employees, four brick-and-mortar locations, a new dessert-focused mobile kitchen and a location at SeaTac airport set to debut soon.
