NW Brain Tumor Walk
Time & Location
About The Event
National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) is pleased to present the Northwest Brain Tumor Walk on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Rose Quarter in Portland. This year we are expecting over 1,500 attendees. We hope you will consider supporting the brain tumor community.
700,000 people are living with a brain tumor in the US today. An estimated 77,000+ people will receive a primary brain tumor diagnosis this year. Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children 19 and younger. These are staggering facts!
NBTS and the Northwest Brain Tumor Walk are fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people living with a brain tumor today and those who will be diagnosed tomorrow. As you can imagine, research is expensive, this mission is urgent, and our budgets are lean.
I hope that you will consider joining us in the fight against brain tumors with a contribution of your time, at this year’s walk. If you would like more information about the organization, the event, or should you be in a position to support this year, please contact to Jenifer Prentiss, Regional Director of Development, Pacific West, 707.583.3030 or firstname.lastname@example.org at your earliest convenience to coordinate logistics of the event day.
Thank you in advance for your generous support.
